My name is Susan Viveiros (a.k.a. MadamHound) and I'm a dog groomer and proprietor of
"Grooming By Susan" in Tiverton, RI. My first experience with grooming was in 1965 when
I began to learn the basics from the breeder of my first poodle. Although I have been involved in
several breeds over the years, poodles have always been my first love (especially toys).
I have been grooming since and worked at various grooming shops
before opening my own business at home in 1985.

I am also very proud to be on the staff of INTERGROOM, the most prestigious grooming event
in the world. In addition to my grooming, I have been very active in other dog circles as a breeder
and exhibitor of champion Ibizan Hounds and Bichons Frise. I am also a former member
of the Board of Directors of NEPGP (New England Pet Grooming Professionals)
and former President of the Ibizan Hound Club of the United States (IHCUS).
